GPS & Maps: Location Tracker 4.2

GPS & Maps is a versatile GPS app designed to assist with navigation and outdoor activities such as geocaching, sailing, skating, trekking, biking, or air travel.

The app provides accurate measurements of your position, height, and acceleration, offering various units of measurement including feet, meters, miles, and kilometers. It also logs your highest altitude and speed. Through the app, you can view and save your current position and other waypoints on a map, with the option to select from the following coordinate formats:

• GPS Coordinates (Latitude/Longitude)
• Decimal Degrees
• Degrees/Minutes/Seconds
• UTM: Universal Transverse Mercator
• MGRS: Military Grid Reference System

GPS & Maps is an essential tool for geocachers due to its seamless switching between coordinates and map. Additionally, the integrated flashlight allows users to locate targets even in dark environments without the need for a separate device.

In-app purchases offer additional features for GPS & Maps:

1. Premium Edition: Unlock all of the following features.
2. Waypoints: Save your current location as a marker on the map. Add new locations, such as geocaches, by entering GPS coordinates. Customize waypoint colors. Export waypoints via email. Show or hide saved waypoints on the map.
3. Map Widgets: Draggable Map Widgets display your location, altitude, speed, address, and GPS accuracy directly on the map. Adjust widget transparency and text color in the settings to optimize readability based on different map tiles and data sources such as Google Maps or Open Street Map.
4. Compass: View your heading relative to magnetic north or true north (configurable in the settings), along with your current location coordinates. Additional information, such as street, city, and country, is also provided. If you purchase the Compass and Map Widgets, the Compass will be displayed as a widget on the map.
5. Open Street Map: Enhance the map with additional data from Open Street Map.
6. Google Maps: Enhance the map with additional data from Google Maps. Choose from map modes such as 'standard', 'satellite', 'hybrid', and 'terrain' in the options menu.
7. iCloud Backup & Restore

Please note that the accuracy of your position and acceleration is dependent on the strength of the GPS signal. Compass and heading information are only available on devices equipped with a magnetometer.
